General Information

ICFAI Business School Aptitude Test (IBSAT) is an entrance exam for admission to post graduate management programs of ICFAI Business School. IBSAT is given by lot of management aspirants every year as ICFAI is a well recognised institute for management education. ICFAI Business School is part of ICFAI(The Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India) University.

At present ICFAI has 19 campuses in cities of Ahmeadabad, Bengalooru, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Dehradoon, Goa, Gurgaon, Hyderabad, Indore, Jaipur, Kochi, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mangalore, Mumbai, Noida, Pune and Nagpur. Admission to all these institutes is conducted through IBSAT scores. IBSAT scores are one of the criterias for admission to ICFAI.

Weightage given to different factors for admission to ICFAI is as follows:

IBSAT - 25%
Past Academic Record - 20%(10th-7%,12th-7%,Degree-6%)
General Knowledge Test- 10%
Micro presentation - 20%
Interview - 20%
General Essay (in English) - 5%

Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility criteria for IBSAT requires a candidate to be either a graduate or in final year of graduation with atleast 50% marks in graduation. The candidates in their final year have to submit an application attested from the head of the institute in which the candidate is studying. Also a candidate should not be more than 25 years as on May 1st, 2010.

Exam Pattern

IBSAT is of two and a half hours. In first two hours objective questions are asked from the following sections: quantitative techniques, data adequacy, vocabulary, reading comprehension, data interpretation and analytical reasoning. In next half an hour candidates have to write an essay of about 400 words on a given topic
