Krishna,

Graph questions are easiest to handle. The only trick is to comprehend the information. Pay special attention to the units/axis/scale used in the graphs and then they are just cake walks. They look for long calculations by with special techniques ( Refer to lesson Calculation techniques in DI&LR Zone), even they can be tackled easily.

Thank you. Yesterday, i had appeared in TIME mock test. There were 2 hefty looking graph based questions. The solution they provided was quite lengthy.

Hello faculty, what could be the possible traps in the language of the question?? From past some time, though i was astonished, that there were really some trick in the way the question was asked. Can you please guide how to tackle such situations while giving exam..

Maverick,

There are no such list that we have prepared though it is not a bad idea. As of now, this type of traps are written in different lessons as and when needed. i.e., one such example is
non-negative integers and positive integers??
Non negative is 0, 1,2,3,5 and so on so essentially whole numbers
whereas positive integers are 1,2,3,4 so natural numbers.

There are other tricks like this used by examiners a lot. But the CAT complete package and you shall see them at many places discussed by our faculties.
