MANAGEMENT ENTRANCE TEST (MET) -  2009, and MASTER OF COMPUTER APPLICATIONS ENTRANCE TEST (PRE MCA) - 2009

M.P. Professional Examination Board, Bhopal will conduct Entrance Tests for addmission to AICTE approved MCA /MBA courses in instituted located in the state of Madhya Pradesh for the academic session 2009-10.

1. Date of Examination: SUNDAY 24-05-2009.

MET: Forenoon session    -    08.00  A. M. to 11.00 A. M.

PRE MCA :  Afternoon session     -    02.00 P.M. to 04.15 P.M.

2. Examination Cities:   Bhopal, Gwalior, Indote, Jabalpur, Rewa, Sagar, Ujain, Dehli, Ahemdabad, Nagpur, Lucknow, Jaipur, Mumbai & Kolkata.

3. Domicile requirements: No candidate shall be selected against MP domicile seats unless he/she fulfills the domicile Prrequirement as mentioned in rule 1.4.3 and 2.5.3 ( the details are available on website under the rules of MET/ Pre MCA.)

4. Eligibility;

MBA and allied courses: Candidate should be a graduate or post graduate with atleast 50% marks ( 40% in case of SC, ST, OBC category of  Madhya Pradesh) in aggregate of any UGC / AICTE approved Indian university or from a foreign university recognised  by the  association of Indian universities ( AIU) or institute recognised by the concerned university as equivalent         thereto.Bechlors degree must be of minimum three years duration after passing higher secondary (10+2) examination of the system or equivelant.

MCA coursse: Candidate should be a graduate of any UGC / AICTE approved indian university or from a foreign university recognised by association of Indian Universities (AIU) or Institute recognised by the concerned university as equivalent thereto. The Bechlors degree must be of minimum three years duration in any discipline with Mathematics as compulsory or an additional subject at either higher secondary or at graduation level. Candidate with Bechlor of Computer Application (BCA) degree of minimum three year duration all also eligible for admission.

Note. Candidates are in the final year o the any degree examination can also appear in the MET-2009 / Pre MCA -2009 on provisional basis. But such a candidate shall have to produce the original certificate of having passed mark sheet of the final year of the degree examination at the time of counselling.

5. Availability of Application Form: The application form and the rule book can be obtained on cash payment of Rs.1000/- for Pre MCA, RS. 1500/- for MET and Rs. 2000/- for both Pre MCA and MET (which includes test fee also ) from 09-04-2009 to 25-04-2009.

6. By-Post: Forms can be obtained from the M.P. Professional Examination Board Office by submitting a request letter accompanied by an account payee Bank Draft /  Bankers Cheque of  any Nationalized Bank for Rs. 1050/- for Pre MCA , Rs. 1550/- for MET and Rs. 2050/- for both Pre MCA & MET (which includes Test Fee also)  drawn in favour of " MP Professional Examination Board Bhopal" payable at Bhopal. The applicant can also obtain application form through post by sending a request for the same to Board so as to reach the office latest by 18-04-2009. Request for application form by post received after 18-04-2009 will not be considered.

7. Last date of receipt of duly filled/ completed Application Forms at M.P.P.E.B., Bhopal office is 20-04-2009.

8. Online Submission Of Application Form: Candidate shall have to apply online form 09-04-2009 t0 29-04-2009. either through www.vyapam.nic.in or www.mponline.gov.in websites on payment of examination fee Rs.1050/- in case applying for Pre MCA , Rs. 1550/- for MET and Rs. 2050/- for both Pre MCA & MET (which includes Test Fee also) by either credit card or by cash payment from the above authorised kiosks of MPONLINE. The list of authorised Kiosk is available on the above websites.

9. Information regarding Rejection:

(a) After the submission of application form there is no provision of correction / rectification in the entries of the submitted application form. No correspondence will be entertained in this regard.

(b) The information regarding acceptance/rejection of application form will be made available on the website of the board www.vyapam.nic.in
