Industry Integrated Programmes

Gauhati University has launched an innovative and unique Industry Integrated Regular Programmes in management under Department of Business Administration, Gauhati University from 2009-10 session onwards. The University offers these programmes in collaboration with NIAM Educational Foundation , New Delhi. NIAM provides On- the- Job Training at various Industries and In- House- Training to students of MBA (Industry Integrated) and BBA (Industry Integrated) regular programmes through approved Academic Partners of Gauhati University, Guwahati.

MBA (Industry Integrated) programme

MBA (Industry Integrated) program can benefit fresh graduates with minimal knowledge of business organizations and industrial working environment. Eligibility

For MBA (II) programme:

A Bachelors Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 45% aggregate marks from a University recognized by UGC / Gauhati University.

Proficiency in spoken and written English is desired for successful pursuit of the programme.
For BBA (II) programme:

10+2 in any stream with a minimum of 40% marks.

Proficiency in spoken and written English is desired for successful pursuit of the programme.
Admission Procedure for MBA (II):

Written Test followed by Group Discussion and Personal Interview.

Relaxation for MBA (IIP)- Students who have appeared in All India Common Entrance Exam viz. CAT, MAT, ATMA, XAT or any other national level exam and scored marks not less than 50 percentile are exempted from appearing in the written test conducted by the Gauhati University.
Admission Procedure for BBA (II):

Students would be admitted to the BBA (II) programme on the basis of their marks in 10+2 examination and performance in Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
